For those of you that were around Cliff the last couple of years of his life would know that my nick-name for him was Bunny. Now I know your thinking, cliff was a big boy, why would she call him Bunny? Well, it all started out with me clling him my Honey Bunny, then I just shortened it to Bunny and if I ever forgot and called him Cliff he got MAD! Bun and i got to be fishing buddies summer of 06. One morning after we had our coffee (our morning ritual) we decide to put some jugs out to catch us a big catfish. Everyone at one time or another has listened to "the big fish story" well this is ours: We put the jugs out and went back to the camper to get Pam. Bun was eyeing those jugs with binoculars from the pier, it was gettin intense. Pam loves catfish and Bun was determined we were having catfish sometime that week. Anyway, we go back and Pam is with us-She steers the boat while Bun is checking the jugs and rebaiting. Well He spotted one running I told him" I'll get it, I know how to do it, Let me get it". He finally said ok. I get the pole grab the line and pulled the jug up and I swear I was staring at jaws. I dropped everything, damn near knocked Pam & Bun in the water trying to get away from this huge catfish. Bun finally grabbed the jug and pulled up a 4 foot monster catfish. All I could say was I didn't know they made catfish that big. Bunny cooked him that day. This is just one of many stories. I will post more as I remember them.
